Jade Cargill surpasses 500 days as undefeated in AEW

Current AEW TBS champion Jade Cargill has surpassed 500 days as undefeated in AEW and there doesn’t seem to be a hint when someone can dethrone the 30-year-old from Florida.

Cargill, who signed with AEW in 2020, was trusted straight into the spotlight when her debut came interrupting Cody Rhodes and teasing the arrival of Shaquille O’Neal. The angle was supposed to lead to Cargill and O’Neal vs Cody and Brandi Rhodes in a mixed tag match but Brandi got pregnant and was eventually replaced by Red Velvet.

Despite criticism of being green in the ring, Cargill soldiered on and eventually won the AEW TBS title in January of this year, a title which she still holds and now in her near 200-day reign as champ.

To improve her in-ring abilities, Cargill has engaged the services of Bryan Danielson, who has been training her on AEW television days.
