Former NXT star Von Wagner makes Ring of Honor debut

Former NXT star Von Wagner made his Ring of Honor debut this past weekend, teaming up with Deonn Rusman to take on Gates of Agony for an upcoming episode of ROH TV on HonorClub.

He wrestled under his real name of Cal Bloom and this was just his second match since his last NXT match in April 2024.

The 30-year-old spent five years with WWE, making his TV debut in September 2021. He was released from the company in April of last year and only returned to wrestling two weeks ago, appearing at a Midwest All-Star Wrestling event.

Last week, Bloom appeared as a security guard on Dynamite, helping to break up a brawl between Powerhouse Hobbs and Mark Davis.
