The first matches for the next AEW pay-per-view, Full Gear, were announced on Dynamite yesterday.
The AEW Tag Team champions, who lost an eliminator match on Dynamite, will now defend their titles against Mark Davis and Jake Doyle. The Bucks did the job in a squash match much to the surprise of everybody, and Davis and Doyle punched their ticket to Phoenix in the process.
The Brawling Birds, the team of Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, will also defend the AEW Women’s Tag Team titles at Full Gear. The two will face Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron. Hayter has been injured since All Out and the titles were not defended at WrestleDream.
Two other matches were teased, but not officially announced yet. These are Mercedes Mone vs Marina Shafir for the AEW Women’s title and “Hangman” Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido vs Swerve Strickland and The New Level in a Texas Death Match for the AEW Trios titles.
Full Gear takes place on Saturday, November 14 live from the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
