Dynamite Spring BreakThru sells out, to overtake Nitro in total episodes

Tomorrow’s AEW Dynamite, promoted as the Spring BreakThru episode, has sold out the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts, with just over 3,000 fans expected.

This episode is particularly important for a lot of people as it’s the episode which surpasses WCW Nitro’s total episodes, with Dynamite getting to #289.

“We’ll celebrate AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite becoming the longest running prime time weekly pro wrestling program in Turner Sports history,” AEW President Tony Khan wrote on X when he announced Spring BreakThru

WCW Nitro ran from September 4, 1995 until March 26, 2001, with a total of 288 shows produced on TNT.
