Dynamite: Grand Slam surpasses $1 million gate

Tonight’s Dynamite: Grand Slam has crossed the $1 million mark in gate money, making it the highest-grossing Dynamite in history.

While the attendance will be smaller than last year’s event, this year’s show had a significant higher ticket cost which allowed AEW to cross $1 million with fewer people.

AEW President Tony Khan announced last night that to celebrate this milestone, the ticket buyer who put them at or above the $1 million mark was going to receive a commemorative Grand Slam chair signed by greats from the Tournament of Champions.

The Arthur Ashe Stadium is configured to hold just over 15,000 fans and AEW has moved over 12,000 tickets as of today, leaving around 3,000 tickets available. Last year’s show had over 20,000 fans in attendance.
