Former TNT champion Dustin Rhodes revealed on X that he has to do two knee replacements and will be having surgery later this month.
“Knees are both destroyed. I have to go under the knife August 21st,” Rhodes wrote. “They can’t actually fix the damage so we are getting 2 knee replacements. Damn!”
Two knee replacements at the same time will be pretty tough but that also means you heal at – theoretically – the same time rather than going through the same rehab process again.
Rhodes noted that this is not the end for him and hinted at returning to the ring when he’s back fully fit.
The Texan dropped the TNT title to Kyle Fletcher last week on Collision in a very bloody main event, just two weeks after winning it at All In.
