Dax Harwood shuts down his FTR podcast over hate messages

Dax Harwood of FTR is shutting down his weekly FTR with Dax podcast effective immediately.

In his last podcast with his co-host Matt Koon, Harwood said that they feel they were causing more harm than good with things said on the show even though they were trying to do good.

“It just didn’t come across that way or portray it that way. We were more of a detriment to professional wrestling than we thought and never wanted to do that,” he explained.

Harwood was on the receiving end of some hate messages over the past couple of weeks and said that he never wanted fans to hate him so much that they would say some of the things they said to him.

“I thought I was way more mentally tough than I am, but I admit that I am not,” Dax continued, admitting the toll the hate messages took on him. “I don’t think I can handle some of the things that are said, and I don’t want my daughter to read things ten years from now that are said about me.”

Harwood apologized to the fans who he might have offended during the shows and said that media outlets sometimes twisted things to make him look bad.
