Chris Jericho says everyone in AEW could use working for Vince McMahon for six months

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, AEW’s Chris Jericho explained how everybody in AEW could benefit from working six months for Vince McMahon.

“That’s where you really understand what wrestling is, the wrestling business, and how the business works,” Jericho said without mincing any words.

Jericho admitted that he loved working for Vince and going head-to-head with him on creative and arguing. He said that Vince always told him that he was there to teach him life lessons, not give him wrestling lessons.

“And he did. He taught me a lot of life lessons. The guy is really a f*cking cool guy,” Jericho said.

Jericho noted that McMahon was not easy to deal with and was an asshole on occasions but he was the boss and you’re not supposed to be friends with the boss all the time.

“But then you can still get on a private jet and drink for four hours listening to the Stones,” Jericho continued.

The former multi-time champion shared a great relationship with the former WWE boss and was a loyal soldier for many years before he moved to AEW.
