Cage and Cope, Takeshita, and MJF win titles at Double or Nothing 2026

Three new champions were crowned at last night’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view as the AEW Tag Team, AEW International, and AEW World titles all swapped hands.

Cage and Cope opened the PPV with a victory over their arch rivals FTR and won the AEW Tag Team titles in a match where if they had lost, they would have had to disband as a team and no longer able to tag team together in AEW. The third match in the series puts the Canadians 2-1 up against FTR, who lost the titles after 183 days.

Don Callis Family members Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita had a match for the ages with the AEW International title on the line. This time, it was Takeshita, the former IWGP Heavyweight champion, who won the match clean. Unfortunately, the celebration went out of the window as Kyle Fletcher returned and took out Takeshita. Okada held on to the title for 316 days.

And in the main event of the night, Darby Allin’s experiment as AEW World champion was cut short after just 39 days with MJF regaining the title in a hair vs title match. MJF is not going bald and became the first-ever three-time AEW World champion. Allin also had a rough night as Kevin Knight turned on him following the match, delivering a UFO splash on Allin who was strapped in a stretcher.

Jon Moxley and Thekla were the only two who managed to keep their respective titles at the show.
