Andrade El Idolo debuts for All Elite Wrestling

Andrade made his debut on All Elite Wrestling yesterday during the Friday night Dynamite live episode.

Using the name Andrade El Idolo, the former NXT champion was introduced by Vickie Guerrero, who interrupted a segment featuring Mark Henry and Tony Schiavone. Andrade said he’s here to be the new face of All Elite Wrestling and the promotion then confirmed that Andrade had signed a deal in a tweet.

Andrade already has a big match set up with the AEW World champ as he will be facing Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega title at AAA Triplemania XXIX on August 14.

Andrade was released from WWE in March after he requested to be let go. Unlike others who were released, he did not have a 90-day no compete clause.

You can see his arrival in AEW below.
