AEW’s VP of Live Events & Touring, Rafael Morrfi, leaving company

AEW’s Vice President of Live Events & Touring, Rafael Morrfi, is departing the company according to a news story by PWInsider.com.

Morrfi was in charge of the company’s live event tours, booking arenas, and logistics, a position he has occupied since joining the company in June 2019. Morrfi had an 11-year stint with WWE as Senior Director of Live Event Marketing and one year with TNA as Senior Director of Live Events in the past as well.

He leaves AEW to take a position with the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
