AEW takes a reportedly $30 million loss on Fight Forever video game

Mike Straw, the Insider Gaming Executive Editor, revealed in a video published yesterday that AEW took a hit of around $30 million from the Fight Forever video game.

“Fight Forever was a massive loss for AEW,” Straw said. “That shouldn’t come as a surprise, I don’t think it did.”

The game experienced long delays in development by Yuke’s, which AEW had to cover costs for and the game did not sell as well as it was hoped.

AEW Fight Forever was published by THQ Nordic in June 2023 on all major gaming consoles and remains the only game so far for AEW since its inception in 2019.
