AEW Grand Slam World Title Eliminator tournament to determine MJF’s next opponent

A tournament to determine who will challenge for MJF’s AEW World title at the Dynamite: Grand Slam episode was announced last night.

The Grand Slam World Title Eliminator tournament will start next week on Dynamite and will have eight competitors, none of which were announced on the show.

Roderick Strong did announce during an in-ring segment that he will be part of the tournament and will go on to win it but officially, no entrants are yet in the tournament.

Dynamite: Grand Slam takes place on September 20 from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.

Last year’s show was headlined by Jon Moxley against Bryan Danielson in a tournament final for the vacant AEW World title.
