AEW Fight Forever video game slated for June 27 release

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that the AEW video game titled Fight Forever is finally scheduled to be released on June 27.

The game has been in production for two and a half years already and was originally set to go on sale sometime in 2022. That was however delayed as the company had issues with the ESRB obtaining a teen rating.

In March of this year, Game Changer Wrestling also opposed the trademark application of Fight Forever, a name which they have used before as an event. GCW owner Brett Lauderdale tweeted that GCW has never, and will never ask for a dollar of Tony Khan’s money and just wants assurances that he could use the name again for another event in the future.

Tony Khan has said in the past that he poured in an eight-figure sum to make this game, developed by Yukes and published by THQ Nordic. It will be available on Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch.
