The reunion of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage took place last night on Dynamite, with Cage coming out to save his frenemy from an attack from FTR following his match against Stokely Hathaway.
Copeland won via a disqualification after FTR interfered on behalf of their manager and before the tag team executed a spike piledriver, Christian Cage came out with Spike in hand to help out his former tag team partner. Eventually, Nick Wayne also came out with a chair but Cage quickly disposed of him.
After the ring cleared and “hug it out” chants, Copeland grabbed Cage and hugged him to a big ovation from the crowd.
The two will now team up to face Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian at Forbidden Door.
