Adam “Edge” Copeland gets villain role on The CW’s The Flash

WWE Hall of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland has landed a role in the second season of The CW’s The Flash. He will play Atom Smasher according to ComicBook.com which got the exclusive.

Edge will be appearing on the season premiere which is currently being filmed. The CW described his character as one of the most powerful enemies this season and Atom Smasher has arrived to kill The Flash. “His incredible strength and ability to grow to enormous size makes him more than a match for Flash and the entire S.T.A.R. Labs team will have to come together to find a way to defeat him.”

This is not his first time on a television series as Edge played the character of Dwight Hendrickson on SyFy’s Haven.

“So this is happening! Another one off the bucket list,” he wrote on Twitter. ”Keeping that secret was tough!”
