The TNA Knockouts TV title tournament kicked off last night on Impact with the first two matches taking place.

Mara Sade was the first one to qualify to the next round after she beat Tasha Steelz and then Heather by Elegance defeated Allie to move on.

A total of 16 women from both TNA and NXT are taking part in this tournament where the winner will be crowned the inaugural TNA Knockouts TV champion.

The title was introduced by Traci Brooks at the Slammiversary pay-per-view, a title which will be defended exclusively on the TNA flagship show Impact.
