Fanatics takes down auction for a “match-used” WWE chair after major blunder

A Fanatics auction for a steel chair which was marketed as being used during the 2022 Survivor Series women’s WarGames match has been taken offline after a major blunder.

The match that night featured Bianca Belair, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Mia Yim, and Alexa Bliss vs Bayley, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Nikki Cross, and Dakota Kai and the big issue with the auction was that there was never a chair involved at any point during the whole match.

The barely-dented chair on the auction was taken down when the price was just $75. It’s unclear whose error it was for the listing.

This is not the first time that Fanatics have sold something which was not exactly what they marketed. Once they sold a piece of a ring mat used during the WWE Raw debut on Netflix and a wrong-colored mat was sent to the buyer instead. After complaining that the mat color wasn’t even that at any time during the show, Fanatics refused to issue a refund.
