CM Punk will be returning to CFFC commentary next week for their show at the Hard Rock Casino in Rockford, Illinois.

The former WWE World Heavyweight champion was a frequent commentator for the mixed martial arts promotion before he rejoined WWE a couple of years ago.

Punk has been absent from WWE television since the Raw after WrestleMania 42 and was subject to a lot of rumors over the past few weeks. He is expected to be back on WWE television in the next few weeks as the company starts its build towards SummerSlam.

Punk will also represent WWE at the Fanatics Fest convention next month.

CFFC 156: Stanford vs Lewis airs on Friday, June 26 on the UFC Fight Pass streaming service.
