Paul “Triple H” Levesque signs new multi-year deal with WWE

PWInsider.com is reporting that Paul “Triple H” Levesque has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE to remain in his position as Chief Content Officer, heading up all the creative in the company, a position he has held for the past couple of years.

The news was disseminated to all WWE employees during a town hall yesterday, headed up by WWE President Nick Khan.

PWInsider adds that the deal was done before WrestleMania weekend.

There were several rumors flying around that Triple H was no longer in control of creative after the inclusion of Pat McAfee in the Rhodes vs Orton match by TKO chiefs. TKO’s Mark Shapiro did confirm that the company has overall creative final say, good or bad, although insiders have said that it’s not like they interfere weekly and those interferences, like McAfee’s addition and even last year’s addition of Travis Scott, are very, very few.
