21 WWE Superstars fired in post-Mania massacre

WWE fired a total of 21 Superstars from main roster and NXT in its yearly post-Mania massacre, including some surprising names.

Perhaps the biggest ones are Aleister Black and Kairi Sane, with Sane involved in an angle being bullied by Asuka for the past several months with now no apparent payoff.

Black just recently returned from AEW but failed to catch on. His wife, Zelina Vega, was also released.

The cuts started yesterday afternoon and it’s always a dicey time for Superstars after WrestleMania as the yearly layoffs comes and never misses.

The full list of those released in alphabetical order are:

  • Alba Fyre
  • Aleister Black
  • Alex Shelley
  • Andre Chase
  • Apollo Crews
  • Chris Sabin
  • Dante Chen
  • Dexter Lumis
  • Joe Gacy

  • Nikki Cross
  • Rowan
  • Santos Escobar
  • Tayra Mae Steel
