Pro Wrestling Tees denies split from AEW over merchandise

A post by user on the r/squaredcircle Reddit forum said that Pro Wrestling Tees laid off the whole merchandise design team for AEW, including themselves, as AEW has ended their partnership with the apparel maker.

The post has since been deleted and Ryan Barkan, the owner at PWTees, issued a statement denying that AEW has ended their partnership with them.

“The person who made the reddit post circulating has no knowledge of our business. Nothing on that post is true except that we unfortunately told some of our contracted designers that we would not need them for as many AEW designs anymore,” Barkan wrote. “Some of the AEW designers are still contracted. Nothing has changed otherwise and we are still fulfilling merchandise for AEW.”

The company has been supplying official AEW merchandise since AEW’s inception.
