Jacob Fatu challenges Roman Reigns for WWE World Heavyweight title at Backlash

Roman Reigns’ first challenger has stepped up and it’s none other than Jacob Fatu.

In the main event segment, which saw Reigns walk out with his cousins The Usos again, Jacob Fatu interrupted the Bloodline reunion and Reigns foolishly assumed that Fatu was there to acknowledge him, to which Fatu replied no. Reigns then assumed he was there for his title, and Fatu said he was there because he needs to win the title.

He said that he wasn’t interested in being the Tribal Chief, but he was interested in having everything that comes along with being the Tribal Chief. Fatu mentioned the shoes, private jets, bigger house, Rolex watches, better schools for his kids etc and said that he would do everything for his family, even if he had to go through the Tribal Chief to get it.

Fatu told Reigns that come Backlash, he’s coming for his title. Reigns said that maybe he could beat him for the title, but if he doesn’t, can he handle the burden to acknowledge him? Reigns gave Fatu one week to re-think his decision and he would answer him on next week’s Raw.
