Paige returns to WWE at WrestleMania 42

Paige returned to WWE after an three-year absence at WrestleMania 42 Saturday, coming out as the surprise tag team partner of Brie Bella, replacing the injured Nikki Bella.

The Bellas had their entrance last and Nikki had a mic in her hand and a crutch on the other, explaining that she’s unable to compete due to her ankle injury. She said that she wasn’t going to ruin her sister’s WrestleMania moment and called in an old friend to replace her.

Paige’s old entrance theme kicked in and the British star came out to a massive pop from the Vegas crowd who were uncharacteristically quiet throughout the whole evening.

Paige, who last wrestled in a WWE ring in December 2017, even picked up the victory for her team, hitting the Rampage on Alexa Bliss to win the titles.

Paige also won the WWE Divas title in her main roster debut on the Raw After Mania in April 2014, beating AJ Lee.

Just minutes before the match started, Mercedes Mone wrote on X, “I’ll always be here to support you” in reference to Paige.
