Lin-Manuel Miranda to narrate and appear in WrestleMania 42 Saturday cold open

Multi-time Emmy and Grammy Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda will be narrating and appearing in the WrestleMania 42 Saturday cold opening.

In the video, Miranda explains the history and the iconic moments of WrestleMania and how fans like himself get to witness live moments that they’ll never forget.

“There’s no way to know exactly what drama lies ahead. But we know that we’re here for the pops and the surprises. The memories that will last a lifetime. We are here. We are alive. No second takes. Lights up. The curtain’s about to rise,” Miranda said to close the video. “Welcome to WrestleMania.”

Miranda is creator of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton and composed music for some of the biggest hits in Hollywood.
