Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling is reporting that WWE is receiving around $4.2 million in tax credits from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development to offset production costs for hosting WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

The tax credit covers the two-night WrestleMania as well as all the other WWE-associated events during the week.

WWE estimated that the total production cost bill will be in the range of $35 million, slightly above last year’s. A final tax credit bill will be issued once WWE’s accounts are independently verified.

The money comes from the who focus on bringing in film and entertainment business to the state, and is figured out based on total production costs which WWE put at $35 million.

WWE is also receiving a site fee for hosting the show in Las Vegas again, however that sum has not been revealed yet.
