La Catalina to become the first star to move from CMLL to TKO-owned AAA

Mexican star La Catalina is expected to make history by becoming the first talent to move from CMLL to AAA ever since the TKO takeover last year.

Luchablog is reporting that the 25-year-old star is on the way to AAA after her CMLL contract expired in the beginning of April and expected to make her debut on the Saturday, April 11 show.

She is not new to the WWE machine as she worked for the company between 2019 and 2021 under the names of Carolina, Catalina, and ultimately Katrina Cortez.

La Catalina has been wrestling for CMLL since 2023 and opted not to renew her deal to move to AAA.
