AJ Lee helps Maxxine Dupri win Intercontinental title on Raw

A new Women’s Intercontinental champion was crowned at Madison Square Garden yesterday as Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch for her first gold in the company.

The win came thanks to an assist from the returning AJ Lee, who has been absent since the Wrestlepalooza premium live event, and returned to stick it to Lynch once again.

Lee’s arrival was enough to distract Lynch, who then was on the receiving end of a crossbody for the pin.

Dupri vanished from the ring immediately after the win and celebrated with Lee at ringside, holding up the title in a moment worthy of being at MSG.

“Winning your first title from a multi-time world champion at the World’s Most Famous Arena…doesn’t get bigger than that,” wrote Triple H on X afterward along with the customary finger-pointing photo. “This is the @TheGarden. Congratulations @maxxinedupri!”
