Popular Hulk Hogan LJN action figure from the 80s being re-released

The Hulk Hogan WWE Superstars LJN action figure from the 1980s is being re-released.

Coming in late October, the 7.76″ action figure features Hulk Hogan with a removable title belt. It was originally released in 1984 by LJN but now it’s produced by Mattel, with some very slight changes, mainly to the tan and title belt.

While it seems coincidental that the action figure is being re-released just after Hogan passed away, TMZ reports that the plan has been in the works for more than a year and Hogan was actually involved in the process.

The figure was supposed to have been unveiled at the San Diego Comic Con last weekend but WWE only announced the release of Logan Paul, Dusty Rhodes, and John Cena LJN-inspired action figures.

Target has already sold out of all the pre-orders. The price was set at $24.99.
