Mariah May expected to get new name in WWE

As it was the case originally with Ricky Saints, Mariah May was never addressed by her name during her surprise appearance on NXT last night and she is expected to receive a new name in WWE.

The change of name, an ugly, but most of the time a necessary evil, is due to intellectual property issues. Like this, WWE owns the rights to the new name for use on apparel and everything else instead of having to license it from the individual.

May received a huge pop from the crowd yesterday when she appeared and Corey Graves was equally excited on commentary!

“Wow, wow, wow,” he said. “She’s even better in person, Vic!”

After the show, May said that it’s about damn time that she is now in WWE and posted on X a photo sitting backstage with the words, “honey I’m home.”

She also updated her bio to read WWE Superstar.

It’s unclear what name May will have in WWE as of this moment.
