Nia Jax becomes number one contender for WWE Women’s title

Nia Jax became the number one contender for the WWE Women’s title after she defeated Jade Cargill last night on Smackdown.

The finish had some interference in the form of Naomi, who came out to attack the champion Tiffany Stratton who was at ringside. The distraction by Naomi was enough to get Cargill’s eyes off Jax, who took advantage of the situation and finished off Cargill with The Annihilator.

Stratton defeated Jax for the title after she cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase in January of this year.

It was not announced when Jax will be getting her title shot.
