Sami Zayn and Bayley added to the 2025 Royal Rumble

The men’s Royal Rumble match had another addition last night on Raw as Sami Zayn declared himself for the match while Bayley became the first woman to announce herself for the women’s match.

Zayn cut an in-ring promo and said that while he doesn’t need a world title to feel complete, he still wants it, because the 14-year-old Sami always wanted to win the WWE title. His promo was interrupted by Kevin Owens, who expressed full confidence in Zayn winning the Rumble and they could go and main event WrestleMania against each other for the WWE title.

Bayley announced that she would be entering the women’s Royal Rumble match in a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley. She said that if she wins, she could go after the WWE Women’s title, the WWE Women’s World title, or even the NXT title. Bayley won last year’s Royal Rumble and defeated Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s title at WrestleMania.
