Cody Rhodes shared a special moment in the ring after his main event match at the non-televised live event in Tokyo today.

After he defeated AJ Styles to retain the WWE championship, Rhodes was gifted the red robe and hat that his father Dusty wore back in the day. The robe was on display at the Antonio Inoki Exhibition.

Fans were pushing for Cody to wear and he obliged, putting the robe, hat, and then did a couple of laps around the ring just like his dad used to do.

An emotional Rhodes then got on his knees and kissed the mat as fans cheered.

This was after Cody got a young fan who was wearing the traditional Japanese kimono in the ring and gifted her the weight belt and shared a hug with her.
