Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting through his Select service that Chad Gable’s WWE contract is expiring next week.

The two sides have not reached an agreement on either an extension or a new contract yet and Gable could be a free agent in just a matter of days.

Gable has been featured heavily and regularly on WWE television lately as the leader of the Alpha Academy and is in one of the most prominent storylines on Raw every week.

The 38-year-old has been working with WWE since 2013.
