Two high-ranking WWE officials gone from the company

Two high-ranking WWE executives were let go from the company this weekend, one of whom who had 26 years of service.

Steve Rubin, WWE’s Senior Director of TV Event Relations, was released following 26 years with the company. He started in 2001 as Manager, then was promoted to Senior Manager in 2015, before rising to Senior Director in 2023.

He was a liaison between WWE TV production, marketing, and arenas to coordinate production logistics for every televised event around the world. The news of his departure was broken by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Michael Levin, WWE’s Vice President of International Live Events, finds himself on the unemployed list after nearly eight years with the company. He started in 2016 as Vice President of International and then was promoted to his current role in 2019. In 2020 he was also given the role of GM Emerging Markets and was based in the London office.

Levin was just in France last weekend for Backlash and actively posted about WWE-related stuff on his LinkedIn. His departure was originally reported by PWInsider.com.
