LA Knight and AJ Styles have a chance of becoming Cody Rhodes’ first challengers for the WWE title after the two each won a triple threat match last night on Smackdown and now must face each other to see who goes on to Backlash against Cody.

Knight was the first one to qualify after he beat Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley and then Styles qualified after he beat Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens in the second match.

The two now face each other in a WrestleMania rematch on next week’s Smackdown to determine the #1 contender.

Knight won round one between the two at WrestleMania so AJ will be looking for revenge, a revenge that has a bigger meaning this time around with a championship title match on the line.
