Ronda Rousey unloads on Vince McMahon in new biography book

In excerpts released from her upcoming biography book Our Fight, Ronda Rousey slammed Vince McMahon in her wrestling chapter, calling him the company’s “Emperor Palpatine,” where it was hard to distinguish when the on-screen character and real-life McMahon stopped and started.

“It’s hard sometimes to know where the evil, unethical, slimeball character of Vince McMahon played out for the cameras ends and the actual questionably ethical, many times sued, and multiple times accused of sexual misconduct Vince McMahon begins,” Rousey wrote. “That blurred line between character and reality is a recurring theme within the WWE Universe.”

Describing WWE premium live events, she said that shows are now also held twice a year in Saudi Arabia, “a nation that restricts the rights of women in a way that I’m certain Vince McMahon wishes he could.”

But while she tore McMahon a new one, she described Triple H as “one of the better people on the business side” who was also her in-ring WrestleMania nemesis and “arguably one of the best professional wrestlers in history.”

The book, released on April 2, is co-authored by Maria Burns Ortiz, a New York Times best-selling author and former ESPN journalist.
