Arthur Ashe Stadium expected to be host of Forbidden Door 2024

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast is reporting that the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June will be taking place from the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.

The location is usually used for Dynamite and Rampage: Grand Slam in September and at this point it is unclear if the company will be returning to Queens for that television taping just three months after running the same location.

The company had good crowds at the home of the U.S. Open although attendance at the 2023 event was half of that from 2021, with 11,000 in the stands.

This year’s Forbidden Door will also feature the participation of CMLL stars along with NJPW ones.

AEW is expected to make the official announcement soon.

Last year’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view was held in Toronto, Canada.
