Report: Bron Breakker replaced Brock Lesnar in the Royal Rumble

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bron Breakker took Brock Lesnar’s spot at the Royal Rumble yesterday.

The former WWE and Universal champion was supposed to make his return during the Rumble but after the Vince McMahon lawsuit and his alleged involvement, the decision was taken to remove him from the match and postpone his return.

Meltzer notes that Breakker did everything that Brock was supposed to do, including the eliminations…and even getting eliminated by none other than Dominik Mysterio.

The former NXT champion had an explosive outing in the Rumble, having four eliminations to his name.
