Matt Hardy voiced his frustration over the lack of creative direction that both he and his brother Jeff had to endure over the past several months in AEW.

Speaking on his podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt lamented how AEW used them over the last four months, calling the situation very frustrating.

“We’ve been very patient but there has been a lot of frustration with things we’ve done and kind of how we’ve been utilized in some ways,” Hardy said.

Matt said he knows there’s a great spot for both he and Jeff in AEW if they are correctly used. He said he understands that they’re not the same Matt and Jeff Hardy from 1999 or 2000, but there’s a lot that they can do to help the young guys coming up and give them their rub.

“We just need to be utilized in the right way. And we hope we can get there,” Matt said.
