Ric Flair reacts to backlash from Rampage taped promo

Reacting to the online backlash regarding his taped promo at Rampage where he invited 18-28 year-old women to join him in his hotel room after the show, Ric Flair said that he is “tired of hearing all this negativity” and pointed out how he doesn’t need to work or the money.

“Can’t I simply enjoy being by my dear friend @Sting’s side for the next few months without so much hatred?” the Nature Boy asked.

He said he knows he’s old but that does not mean he can’t enjoy life and has earned the right to do whatever he wants and he’s exactly where he wants to be.

“I appreciate everything @TonyKhan, but I’m more than willing to walk away if I am embarrassing you and your company,” Flair added. “All I can say is I’m sorry!”

Several people such as Steve Austin, Kevin Nash, Chris Jericho, Miro, and others, jumped to Flair’s defense as well.

It will be interesting to see if the comments from the promo will make the final cut for tonight’s Rampage!
