Erik of The Viking Raiders undergoes neck fusion surgery

Erik of The Viking Raiders posted on social media that he recently underwent neck fusion surgery on the C6/C7 vertebrae.

The surgery was performed by Dr Cordover at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Erik expressed his gratitude and thankfulness to the doctor, the staff at Andrews and St. Vincent’s Hospital, as well to WWE for the best care possible.

“I’m excited for all the possibilities once my cybernetic upgrades come fully online,” Erik wrote.

It’s unclear how long he will be out for but typical surgeries take close to a year for a return.
