Cash Wheeler of FTR arrested, charged with one count of aggressive assault with a firearm

Daniel Wheeler, better known to wrestling fans as Cash Wheeler of FTR, was arrested this morning by the Orlando Police Department and charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.

The news was broken by the Orlando Sentinel newspaper which added that Wheeler was booked at Circuit Court and had a $2,500 bond.

His mug shot, seen below, shows Wheeler with a bruise around his eye suggesting he was also in a fight. The count is a third degree felony and punishable by up to five years in prison. The arrest info says that the incident happened on July 27 and he pleaded not guilty a week later on August 4.

Responding to media comments, an AEW spokesperson said, “AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. He is fully cooperating with local authorities.”

FTR, currently the AEW Tag Team champions, are supposed to wrestle The Young Bucks next week in London at All In.
