Lynch vs Stratus off SummerSlam, to take place on August 14 Raw

The Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus match which was being built for SummerSlam will not take place this Saturday but instead it is being saved for an episode of Raw in two weeks time.

The match is now penciled in for the August 14 episode which will take place from Winnipeg, Canada, as announced last night by Adam Pierce on Raw.

It remains unclear why the match will not take place at SummerSlam as both popular WWE Superstars are now not scheduled to be part of the biggest show of the Summer.

This is a rematch from their Night of Champions bout where Stratus ended up winning thanks to an assist from Zoey Stark, who made her main roster debut on that night.

A match between the two on Raw yesterday ended in a DQ after a few seconds following Stark’s interference.
