Tommaso Ciampa returned on last night’s Monday Night Raw, effectively ending his partnership with The Miz after he was the one who answered Miz’s open challenge on the show.

Ciampa looked like he had different intentions at first and was about to hug The Miz but then decked him instead. Ciampa beat The Miz with his fairytale ending.

The former NXT champion has been out of action since October of last year after he had to go under hip labrum surgery. His returned was teased a few weeks ago when Johnny Gargano told the rest of The Way that he was excited that they could be joined by another member soon.

Before being taken off TV, Ciampa had been in a partnership with The Miz.
