The Backlash go-home episode of Smackdown drew the lowest viewership of the year, with 2,059,000 viewers tuning in. It was also the least-watched episode since August 2022. That number was down a whopping 414,000 viewers from the prior week. The NBA playoffs smashed the competition on television. Smackdown did a 0.52 in the 18-49, down 0.15 from the previous week but still topped all of network television for the night.
