The 12 WWE Superstars – six from Raw and six from Smackdown – who will battle in the tournament to crown the new WWE World Heavyweight champion were revealed.

Those from Raw are Cody Rhodes, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, Seth Rollins, and The Miz. Smackdown will be represented by AJ Styles, Austin Theory, Bobby Lashley, Edge, Rey Mysterio, and Sheamus.

The tournament will consist of four triple threat matches, two taking place on Raw tonight and two taking place on Smackdown this coming Friday. The winners of those triple threat matches will face each other in the main event of Raw and Smackdown respectively and then the final two standing will wrestle for the title at Night of Champions later this month in Saudi Arabia.
