WWE 2023 Draft picks for night one

The first picks of the WWE Draft took place last night on Smackdown and they will continue this Monday on Raw on USA Network.

Staying or going to the Raw brand are Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, Gunther, Giovanni Vinci, Ludvig Kaiser, Matt Riddle, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Shinsuke Nakamura, and NXT’s Indi Hartwell.

The Intercontinental title is moving to Raw with Gunther while Indi Hartwell, the current NXT Women’s champion, will probably end up dropping the belt before her move.

The Smackdown brand got Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman, Bianca Belair, The Street Profits, Edge, Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Michin, Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and from NXT Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.

Belair is the current Raw Women’s champion so that means right now both women’s champs are on Smackdown but that will obviously change come Monday. Fyre and Dawn from NXT are also the current NXT Women’s Tag Team champions.

With Reigns remaining on Smackdown that means that the newly re-introduced WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be on the Raw brand.

Roster changes will take effect starting on May 8, the first Raw after Backlash.
