The Rock pays a nice tribute to Jerry Jarrett

In a video posted on his social media, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson paid a nice tribute to Jerry Jarrett.

The Rock said he wanted to make the video to acknowledge Jerry’s contributions to the world of pro wrestling and explained how Memphis Wrestling was the hottest territory in the country in the 70s and up to the mid 80s.

“Jerry Jarrett was the maestro,” The Rock said, adding that Memphis Wrestling had a strong influence on his career.

Johnson also praised Jarrett for giving his father a job when they were evicted in the 80s and then gave him a job too in the mid 90s and he would be forever grateful for that.

The former WWE champion also address Jeff Jarrett, calling him a good buddy of his and told him to keep strong because he knows the pain of losing a father.
