WWE Monday Night Raw arrives in Arizona ahead of WrestleMania 39

On March 27, 2023, the WWE returns to the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, for the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw. Adding to the excitement for Arizona locals, it takes place in the week leading up to WrestleMania 39.

Unfortunately, Arizona locals hoping to get tickets for WWE Monday Night Raw will have to approach resellers because the event is sold out.

WWE fandom has elevated since Triple H replaced Vince McMahon as the Head of Creative, resulting in an incline for ticket sales and TV viewership. The go-home episode of Raw for the Showcase of the Immortals will take place from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. And the event had already sold out before the start of 2023.

Behind their Patreon paywall, WrestleTix announced the Footprint Center will have 6068 seats for this specific episode of Raw, and by December 28, 5325 of those seats had already been sold. This left 743 with four months until the event occurred, guaranteeing a sell-out event.

And as we’re now just two months out, it’s official. The tickets are sold out for this Arena, which also hosted the go-home show for Money in the Bank 2022 and SummerSlam 2021.

Go-home episodes before a live pay-per-view event showcase the stars, storylines, and matchups that appear on the PLE. The go-home events before WrestleMania are the biggest deal, as they’ll take place just days before the biggest wrestling show on earth. The upcoming go-home episode in Phoenix will feature several superstars scheduled to compete at WrestleMania 39.

And with its popularity, you can expect comprehensive coverage of the go-home show in Phoenix and WrestleMania 39, including BetMGM Arizona bonus codes for those wanting to make money from their WM39 predictions.

WrestleMania 39 Rumours

It’s that time of the year, the most crucial stretch for pro wrestling fans, as the Rumble and WrestleMania are on the horizon. And as the last edition of Monday Night Raw will take place in Arizona, just days later, the roster will appear in Los Angeles, California, for the biggest show of the year.

The WWE rumor mill adds to the excitement of WrestleMania every year, and it’s no different in 2023. Who will show their face at WM39? Will we see the return of some beloved old-timers? And will we finally see an appearance from John Cena or The Rock?

In a recent interview with Wrestling Observer Radio, the status of Cena and the Rock was discussed.

“They expect John Cena at WrestleMania, and as far as The Rock goes, it just depends on his schedule. I would say we’re within two weeks of a yes or no on that one because they’ve got to have their answer by Royal Rumble. After all, they’ve got to know what to do at the Rumble.”

The Great One hasn’t been inside a WWE ring since 2019, and John Cena recently returned to tag with Kevin Owens in a victorious bout versus Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

However, we expect tight lips to remain on the status of The Rock. The WWE will be forming the perfect storyline should Dwayne Johnson return, and the speculation outside of the ring continues whether or not he’ll be at this year’s WrestleMania.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Renee Dupree believes the Hollywood star will enter the ring again.

“Rock. Trust me. Listen, if there’s going to be a place sold out, it’s because The Rock is rumored to be there,” he said.

If The Rocks’ comeback is set for 2023, there’s no denying that WrestleMania would be the venue. And as Hollywood has been the new home for multi-time WWE Champ, this year’s showcase event in LA is a romantic return date.

Most critics expect The Rock to return and face his cousin, the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. The storyline is set; a family feud is nothing new in the WWE, and with two of the biggest names in the company’s history involved, it would undoubtedly assist in skyrocketing the viewership and media attention of WrestleMania 39.
